We all beg for a "White Christmas," however living in North Carolina, I'm okay with a white anyday! After having a two hour delay this morning, I went to classes and went on with a normal Tuesday. However, it got a little more interesting while I was driving to work. I have always marveled in how beautiful snow is as it is falling, until I had to drive through it. Then, work was rather calm..and by calm I mean I barely had any students. It made for a rather interesting night and pulling alot of stuff out of my rear to teach.
The rest of the week, like the beginning of it, is still looking to be rather busy, especially leading up to Thursday night. UNCG plays Davidson (and my husband) in basketball. There has been much hype, with many activities remaining, including a pep rally tomorrow night and a tailgate (yes, we at UNCG are having a tailgate...imagine that!) Thursday late afternoon/early evening several hours before the game. But, I must say that I am especially excited to see my husband, the one and only Stephen Curry....can't wait!!
But, until then, I am praying for more snow and less classes this week.
Oh, the pictures--yes, my handy work!-- top is a tree, in case you were confused in the parking lot at work. After all of the snow had melted off of the cars for the most part, the trees still remained a beautiful wintery white. The second, is the sunset..but the big black part at the top of the picture..that's the snow clouds just sitting there.
