Weekend

I realize I have not posted in a couple days, but this has been a busy and fast weekend. Friday, was a normal day full of class and my once a week Spanish class. Following, I had two meetings and then went to the mall with Madison to look for a dress for Saturday night. After searching all over the mall, I found the perfect one about five minutes before closing time...and then I found the perfect shoes to compliment the dress! Saturday was a busy, glitzy, fun filled day. Mom and I had the privilege of judging our first pageant together, the Denton Cinderella pageant. It was very different from other pageants that I have either competed in or watched from the audience, but it was a good change. The Cinderella pageant is based around building up the self-esteem of the young woman. So, in the end, everyone, regardless of if you end up first, last, or somewhere in between, goes home with something, which I think is awesome. Sunday, was a day of sleeping in and then making blankets to be raffled off for Relay for Life with Madison, Tim and Jen. So, that was a lot of fun, especially getting to spend time bonding with them!

But, I think I am going to end there and clean up the mess that has accumulated on my bed from 11:30 last night until now, so that I can actually sleep in it tonight. Take care and I hope you have a great week!
